Verb To Be

Vowel Determinants

The Pairs

Introduction

This is one of the most important topics when it comes to building sentences because it is used consistently. Similar behavior can be observed in other languages such as English, where one would say, "I 'am' happy", or "I 'am' eating", or even "I 'am' going to go". That "am" is what the verb to be is about and just like it varies in English based on the pronoun, (I am, you are, he/she/it... is.. etc.) it varies in Turkish as well.
